Introspection

Introspection is the attitude of going inside when it's necessary. It is especially applicable before a task or a busy day. The result of going inside is peace and calmness, which gives clarity to the intellect for making right decisions. Introspection does not mean avoiding the world, it means going inside and getting empowered to act along with others.

Communication Key to Success

We often forget how communication occurs naturally through the way we present ourselves. Our physical image along with body language tells its own story, but the underlying subtle aspects, the feelings and the nature of our soul, communicate as clearly and powerfully as that which is visible. Whatever we say or do contains this subtle element so what message is this whole package conveying? If we smile without the equivalent feeling, which is the more visible? Further, the effect of the smile will be only superficial. However, if we find ourselves in intense situations, yet our mood is light and the atmosphere uplifting, then harmony and solutions will automatically emerge.

Clearly then communication is not just about words - written or spoken - it is also about feelings and body language. When we care about someone our communication comes from a place of love and so there are no "real" obstacles - our tolerance and willingness to understand are effortless.

The key components of effective communication then are love, positivity, clarity of intention and purpose, a clear message and knowing the correct method and the right time to communicate. When we feel good about ourselves and have positive feelings towards those with whom we want to communicate, the message will work because the receiver will not only be picking up what is visible, but they will also receive and respond to the subtle.

Sometimes, we are unsure of what we want to say or what we mean. This is when we need to take time to sort out the content of our inner message so that the right message will emerge. At times, we may start saying one thing, only to find ourselves communicating something else. The subconscious mind takes over and we are relaying some inner thoughts and feelings that may not have found expression before.

If we want to improve our communication, then we need to develop the positive vibrations within and match our activities accordingly. Every thought, feeling, word and action creates a vibration, which either enhances or depresses the atmosphere! This subtle communication occurs naturally, and so we are responsible for ensuring it is positive.

People respond well to good feelings so by setting up our pure inner resonance and strengthening our respect for the self and others, we will begin to communicate good things, at the right time, in a manner that is positive. And finally, let us not forget the power of the golden language of silence – for that speaks a thousand words!

The Third Eye

We all have Three eyes !!!

Two for looking out and what is this 3rd eye for? This one is for looking within.
Why would we want to look within when everything is happening 'out there'?
Because the treasure we seek are inside, not outside.

What treasure are we talking about? Beauty, truth, peace, happiness.
We are all looking for the right things but in the wrong places.
All these right things we are seeking and they are with in each one of us.

We already are stunningly beautiful. We are already peaceful and loving. Were we not adorable when we are kids? What makes kids adorable? Their innocence in the eyes, honesty of sharing and playful nature that is with in us...

What happened to all these treasures? They are buried under the superficial memories and experiences from our stressful materialistic attitude that everything has to be fast and now and more and more.

How come we don't know this? Simple, we never look inwards, beyond superficial memories or recent experiences, so we never see our own riches.

Let’s take a moment to stop, look in and see.
Sit back, relax and take the journey inward and all our worries, anxieties and stress melt away and inner treasures surface on your face like a thousand watt bulb J.

True Freedom

Many of us have freedom to speak, to think, to choose, to act, to vote, to move from place to place but do we truly feel free? Even in our daily language we speak of a lack of freedom on different levels when we say "I don't have the time..." or "I just can't control myself." Though we live in a modern, free society why do we not feel the freedom?

In order to reflect upon this question, it is necessary to move into our inner world for some exploration. Since it is with our thoughts that we trap ourselves, it is in the mind that we need to seek the answers. Try to recall the last time you felt free and you will soon realize that 'my' freedom is indeed born in 'my' mind. Freeing of the mind is the ultimate step to liberation.

A modern management phrase, "think out of the box" captures the key concept to freeing our mind, that is, think as if there were no box, no walls, nothing to delineate a limit or restriction and the results will be amazing. Solutions, concepts, ideas all flow from within us, our enthusiasm flourishes, hope comes alive and our self-esteem takes root. We begin to move away from expectations and judgements such as right and wrong, and move into understanding another's viewpoint. We not only begin to accept the flow of life but we surf the waves with joy.

Real freedom is a paradox, for only when I live strictly by the laws of my highest principles can I experience being free. When I sacrifice these for a moment of negativity then my conscience bites, I lose my happiness and in that moment I have trapped myself. As I begin to experience freedom from my inner negativity, I become an agent of true and lasting freedom. Remember, all the fears and negativity we live with are acquired and learned, so to free our mind is to let go of the acquired and return to the innate qualities.

So in whose hand is the freedom we speak about, if not our own? This week, begin to take down those barriers and walls that block your view to countless possible ways of living. Shed the old patterns of behaviour that seem to always trap the soul from living a life of sovereignty. Clear the polluted mind and let that pure energy, the pathway to freedom, touch every part of your existence. Remember, if you resist, it persists, and there you have closed the door to your freedom.... more
